Lt. Danilo Cabrera.Yesterday, at about 5:29 p.m., Officers Harold Milne and Enrico Gnassi responded to the 2nd Street Light Rail Station on a reported robbery, where they also met up with a New Jersey Transit police officer.The NJ Transit Officer was approached by a 16-year-old teen, who reported that he was a victim of a robbery.After speaking to the juvenile and through their investigation, Milne and Gnassi learned that the robbery occurred in the area of 400 Marshall Dr. at about 5:10 p.m. and the robbers took the juvenile’s cellphone and his backpack – which contained an Xbox and a UE Boom speaker, police said.They were also able to gather descriptions of the actors and then their information was forwarded to the HPD’s Investigations Bureau. The juvenile was then transported to police headquarters where he was seen by an ambulance, but did not seek any further medical treatment. The juvenile was then picked up by a guardian and taken home.Sgt. Josue Velez, along with members of the investigations bureau, Officer David DiMartino, Fabian Quinones, Connor Milne, along with Dets. Michael Losurdo and Paul Quinn, were immediately tasked to the robbery investigation.Ultimately, they were able to identify the five actors involved in the robbery. They identified four juveniles and one adult, Crandell.One 17-year-old teenage boy was arrested that evening at about 6:34 p.m. He was charged and remanded to juvenile detention, along with the other three juveniles, officials said.Meanwhile, the other four actors were arrested this morning around 8:30 a.m. Crandell’s charges were placed on a warrant and he was transported to the Hudson County Jail after being processed, police said.
